ZD Unveils New Cooking Class Series

If you know wines from A-to-Z, you're no doubt familiar with ZD Wines, an estate located along the Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley town of Rutherford.

ZD makes a small but always dependable line of wines, most of which are absolutely wonderful with food upon release.

So it would make perfect sense for ZD to host a series of cooking classes. And that's exactly what the winery is doing this fall - every Sunday morning from Sept. 12 through Oct. 31.

Each two-and-a-half-hour class is limited to 12 people, and costs $60 per person. Attendees will experience:

* A wine tasting

* A tour of the estate

* Specially selected food-and-wine pairings

* Barrel samples of yet-to-be-bottled wines
