It's the Plaza Wine Bar, which has opened in the back of the Plaza Bistro restaurant.

Restaurateur Martin Chavez is the man behind the project, and he knows a thing or two about wine. He's the former head of the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance.

Plans call for the Plaza Bistro's kitchen to provide gourmet bites for a small fee, with menu items created for pairing with local wines. Also featured will be wine flights, giving customers a chance to try several wines in one sitting, and music will be presented on the weekends.
