     The biggest state in the continental United States does everything big, and that includes wine festivals.

     Whereas most festivals are held over one or two days, the 24th annual GrapeFest in Grapevine, Texas, will stretch to four days: September 16-19.

     It's the biggest (of course) wine festival in the Southwest, and it's all about Texas wines.

     Among the activities scheduled are:

     * People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic

     * Grape Stomp

     * Carnival and midway

     * Kid Zone

     * Texas Wine Tribute Dinner

     * Golf Classic

     * Tennis Classic

     * Festival Food

     GrapeFest is that rare wine festival to which you can bring your golf clubs, tennis gear and even your kids.

     What better way to introduce children to the concept of responsible drinking?
